Yvonne began teaching herself web and graphic design in fall 1999 and has offered free web templates almost since the very beginning. You may have known her when she went by the pseudonym “Aislinn,” which she stopped doing after discovering that the internet is not, in fact, full of predatory weirdos.

She was the web slave web designer for a dozen or so sub-departments, sub-sub-departments, and programs and student organizations large and small at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000-2004. She graduated from there in May 2004 with a BS in Computer Science and a couple other things.

Although she’s undergone a career change and no longer does web design professionally, she still remains a serious web hobbyist who wants to nurture other serious web hobbyists. These days, Yvonne can be found airing her id at Thought Bubbles, and airing her knitting at CogKnition.

Oh, and nobody in real life actually calls her Yve.
